Description
The Brut Nature Terrers by Recaredo is produced from biodynamically cultivated vineyards located in Sant Sadurní dʼAnoia, in the Catalan region of Alt Penedès, in Corpinnat, at the heart of the Cava production area.
It is made with Xarel-lo, Macabeu and Parellada grapes, all hand-harvested after careful selection of perfectly healthy and intact berries. After the classic white winemaking process, the sparkling occurs by secondary fermentation in the bottle, according to the Traditional Method, with a long aging period on the lees.
It displays a straw yellow color tending towards bright gold, with a very fine and continuous perlage. The nose reveals pleasant mineral notes, accompanied by hints of fresh white-fleshed fruit including apple and pear, smoky nuances and floral sensations, leading to a finish of fresh almond that gives this sparkling wine a distinctive character. On the palate it is majestic, creamy and lively, with floral notes and wild herbs guiding toward a pleasantly persistent finish.
