Description
What kind of wine is it
Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo by Terzini is a rosé wine made from red grapes grown in Abruzzo, in the Tocco da Casauria area. It ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and, after a brief aging, is bottled to offer a fresh and smooth style, with clear fruit and a distinct mineral note.
Where does it come from
This wine comes from Tocco da Casauria, in Abruzzo, where the vineyards are located at an average altitude of 350 meters above sea level. The predominantly clayey soils contribute to a more ample and consistent mouthfeel. The favorable climate allows for balanced ripening and a clear aromatic profile.
How is it produced
Harvesting takes place in the last days of September, with grapes picked entirely by hand. In the winery, the grapes undergo gentle pressing, and then the must ferments in steel at a controlled temperature to preserve purity and definition. A short aging follows, then bottling, with an essential technical management to maximize freshness.
Tasting notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, luminous cherry pink. On the nose, there are small red fruits, with recognizable notes of wild strawberries and currants. The palate is smooth and fresh, well-balanced, featuring a progression between a creamier sensation and a mineral accent on the finish.
Food pairings
It is a wine suitable for the entire meal, thanks to its freshness and pleasant smoothness. It's perfect for an aperitif with charcuterie and cheese boards, where its fruity character enhances without overpowering. It also pairs well with grilled vegetables, enhancing simple dishes where a clean sip matters most.
When to serve it
Best enjoyed during convivial moments, from aperitif to a full meal, when looking for a rosé with a clear profile and easy drinkability. Its fresh style and short aging make it ideal for everyday enjoyment, with no need for cellaring, providing continuity and harmony in the glass.
