Description
The Grand Cordon Champagne originates from grapes of the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier varieties from over 100 crus, each of which with unique peculiarities. The blend is completed by a substantial percentage of reserve wines which gives greater thickness to the product.
It has a golden yellow color and a very fine and lively perlage. On the nose there are intense aromas of ripe fresh fruit, among which white peach and apricot stand out, enriched with aromas of tropical fruits reminiscent of lychee and pineapple. Closes on notes of vanilla, toast, honey and dried fruit. In the mouth it is extraordinarily fresh and persistent, with an elegant caramel finish.
Excellent as an aperitif, it is perfect to accompany white meats, fish and cold cuts.
The red silk ribbon, engraved directly into the glass of the new iconic bottle, was initially placed on the bottles destined for the maison's most prestigious customers and became so famous that it was associated with the style of Mumm champagne itself.
