Champagne Brut AOC Millésimé 2013 G.H. Mumm

60th year of the history of the Mumm maison, the cuvée of this Champagne Millésimé is made up of 72% Pinot Noir grapes selected from the best Grand Cru villages of the Montagne de Reims, and 28% of Chardonnay grapes harvested from old vineyards of the Côte des Blancs. The fruit of an exceptional year for Chardonnay which, due to the spring frosts, has severely limited its production. After a maturation of 4 years on its own yeasts and the Brut dosage, this noble sparkling wine rests for 12 months in the cellar before being marketed.

It shines in the golden yellow color glass with fascinating green reflections. The nose offers incredible aromas of pear and yellow peach, followed by exotic hints of lychee. On the palate it expresses a surprising roundness and a lively and sapid taste.

It lends itself to gourmand combinations with citrus and shellfish dishes, carpaccio, sushi, spiced lobster. Also try a refined lemon or eggnog cake.
