Description
The Saphir Champagne by Louis Nouvelot is produced by the family domaine located in the Marne Valley by the award-winning maison Baron Albert.
The Saphir Champagne is a cuvée of 3 vines, mainly Pinot Meunier, which are vinified in steel vats, while the refermentation is in the bottle, according to the canons of the champenoise method.
In the glass, the sparkling wine has a straw yellow color with greenish hues and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals floral aromas of hawthorn and delicate toasted notes. The sip is fresh and savory, with a pleasant finish.
Excellent as an aperitif, it is perfect with raw fish, beef carpaccio and grilled stuffed vegetables.
