Biodynamic, made with grapes grown according to biodynamic principles.

Description

The Château-Grillet is produced by a corporate monopoly that covers an area of only 3.5 hectares located in the Condrieu area.

It consists of 100% Viognier grapes, grown according to a biodynamic agriculture system. The harvest takes place in September and precedes the vinification parcel by parcel, aimed at enhancing the vine, passing through a soft pressing and fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature, and partly in cask. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels before subsequent bottling.

At sight it is straw yellow with golden reflections. Its scent is very varied, in its flavors of apricot, pineapple, citrus on a honey and dried fruit texture, with a final mentholated finish. In the mouth it reveals a great balance, a perfect combination of body, freshness and minerality.

Ideal to accompany an appetizer of raw prawns.
