Description

The Chianti Classico of Castello dei Rampolla is born in vineyards cultivated with biodynamic agriculture, with great respect for the land.

It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes, 5% with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and 5% with Merlot grapes, harvested during the month of September, then fermented in cement tanks for about 7 days at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C. After a maceration on the skins lasting about 30 days, the wine ages in oak barrels, barriques and tonneaux for at least 12 months and rests in the bottle for 6 months.

This Chianti Classico has a deep ruby red color. The nose opens with rich and persistent aromas of red and black berry fruits, among which aromas of raspberry and blackberry stand out. In the mouth it is full and warm, very harmonious and pleasant.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, poultry and roasts, it is ideal in combination with legume soups and mature cheeses.
