Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva Montornello of the Bibbiano company was born in vineyards located between the Sienese municipalities of Bibbiano and Castellina in Chianti.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected manually between 20 September and 10 October. Fermentation takes place, with maceration on the skins for 3 weeks, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After the 18-month malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, the wine ages in bottle for 4 months before being released on the market.

Montornello di Bibbiano has an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens with intense hints of undergrowth fruit and cherry, enriched with spicy notes of black pepper and tobacco. In the mouth it is elegant and structured, with sweet and ripe tannins that contrast with an irresistible pleasant and fresh acid vein, which accompanies towards a savory and persistent finish.

Ideal in combination with meat sauce and grilled meat, it is perfect to accompany roasts and aged cheeses.
