Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva of the Tenuta di Arceno is born in vineyards located in the rolling hills of the Chianti Classico, in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, just outside Siena.

It is produced with Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested between September and October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 12 months and for further 3 months in bottle before being released on the market.

It is characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with hints of raspberries, enriched by pleasant hints of violets and spicy notes of tobacco. On the palate it has a great structure, with the right balance between acidity and tannins. The wine has an aftertaste of cherries and white chocolate.

Perfect to accompany meat ragout dishes, it is ideal in combination with grilled red meats, game and mature cheeses.
