Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva The Gray of San Felice is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested in the first half of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C for 18-20 days. Subsequently a part of the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for about 24 months, while another part in barrique for 6 months.

The Riserva Gray is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet of violet and red berries. On the palate it is full-bodied, austere and very harmonious.

Perfect to accompany grilled and roasted red meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
