On the nose, notes of ripe strawberries, candied cherries, and currants are exalted in the glass. In the secondary profile, aromatic herbs like peppermint and sage, juniper berries, and black pepper corns. On the palate, soft tannins and a medium to long finish with a slightly bitter tail. Description

The Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva Vigna di Lappeggi by Malenchini is made from pure Sangiovese grapes grown on the hills of Antella, near Florence. This wine represents a refined expression of the territory, enhancing the historical significance of the vineyard and the authentic identity of the designation with an elegant and structured profile.

The vinification process involves fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 28°C, with skin maceration for about 18 days. The aging continues for 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by another 12 months in bottle, which helps to perfect its balance and overall harmony.

The color is an intense ruby red with garnet hues. On the nose, notes of ripe red fruit and spices emerge, with hints of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, it is vibrant, with a full-bodied sip and a persistent finish, where the wood aging enhances the liveliness of the Sangiovese without overwhelming it.

It pairs perfectly with red meats, roasts, and flavorful, well-seasoned game dishes.
