Description
The Chianti of Marchesi Torrigiani was born in the company's San Michele vineyards, exposed in a favorable position and characterized by soils of marine sedimentary origin.
This wine is produced with Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. The vinification process takes place in cement tanks, followed by a refinement in the bottle of about 12 months, necessary to achieve an excellent balance and to develop all the organoleptic characteristics.
This Chianti has an intense ruby red color. The nose offers a strong aroma of spices, to which are added in the background notes of ripe red fruit and hints of vanilla. In the mouth it proves a wine easy to drink, thanks to an excellent general harmony, derived from a good softness and captivating and delicate tannins.
Perfect to accompany pasta dishes with savory sauces, it is also excellent with fatty meats and mature cheeses.
