Chinon AOC Rouge Les Terrasses Val de Loire 2016 Beatrice & Pascal Lambert

Pascal et Béatrice Lambert's Chinon Rouge Les Terrasses comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Coutures, in the famous French wine region of the Loire Valley.

It is entirely produced with Cabernet Franc grapes, manually harvested in boxes with selection in the vineyard. Fermentation takes place traditionally in red, with maceration in contact with the skins for 18-30 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 12-18 months in vitrified cement tanks and for further 3 months in wooden barrels, before being bottled.

It has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with intense and elegant hints of ripe red and black fruit. On the palate it is structured and full, with a good length.

This wine is perfect to accompany red meat main courses and game.
