Description

What type of wine is it

Cupersito di Casebianche is a Campanian red wine made from Aglianico grapes, grown in the heart of Cilento. Its expression stands out for its clean and well-defined technical profile, in which a solid structure and freshness blend harmoniously. It's a label with a juicy and elegant style, designed to accompany flavorful cuisine. Careful vinification and aging stages enhance the qualities of the grape variety, delivering in the glass the authentic territorial imprint of the area.

Where does it come from

This Aglianico originates from the rows of Vigna Acquasanta, located within the municipality of Torchiara, in the province of Salerno. The lands within the Cilento area are managed through an organic and biodynamic agricultural regime that respects the vital balance of the plants and the soil. This dedication is reflected in the characteristics of the grapes and ensures perfect ripening of the fruit. The area of origin guarantees a consistent profile, tied to a well-defined and recognized geographical context.

How is it produced

Production begins with a careful manual harvest, carried out only when the clusters reach the ideal moment for picking. The must ferments for fifteen days in steel containers and undergoes skin maceration to enhance color and tannic components. Once this phase is complete, the wine matures for twelve months in tonneaux and oak barrels, a crucial step to soften the structure. A further six-month refinement in the bottle concludes the process before release.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it reveals a bright ruby red color, enriched by obvious purple reflections that highlight its vitality. The aroma is fruity and intriguing, led by clear notes of plum and currant, with spicy undertones of nutmeg and clove. On the palate, the progression is elegant, supported by soft tannins that unfold in a balanced way. The sip ends with a long and fresh finish, confirming an excellent taste harmony.

Food pairing

The texture and measured spiciness of this red make it perfect for accompanying hearty dishes rich in flavor. At the table, it naturally pairs with substantial preparations where the wine's juiciness balances the richness of meats. The pairing of choice is with pork stews, which enhance the breadth and freshness of each sip. Alternatively, it pairs beautifully with a well-roasted roast, perfectly merging with the fruity nature of Aglianico.

When to serve it

Cupersito is the ideal choice to elevate special occasions that require a red capable of supporting important menus. Thanks to a well-judged resting period, it's ready to show its qualities with consistency and maintains a balanced flavor profile. It's especially indicated for lunches and dinners featuring braised or oven-cooked meats, where its soft tannins shine. Its natural aromatic precision guarantees an enjoyable experience and makes it perfect for those who appreciate intensity and elegance.
