The Classic from the Rodenbach brewery
Classic is a Belgian-Flemish beer from the Rodenbach brewery, founded in 1821 by the homonymous family from Germany. The brewery is famous for the large number of wooden vats it owns, some 150 years old, in which many of its beers are aged.
How is Classic made?
This beer is made with 3/4 of young beer and 1/4 of beer left to refine. The beer is fermented and aged in oak barrels.
Sight, nose, eye and palate
Ruby red in color, Classic is an elegant and thirst-quenching beer. From the delicate acidity, slightly caramelized and red fruit aromas are noted.
What do you combine the Classic with?
The ideal combination of this beer is with white meats, even grilled.
