Description
The Colli Aprutini Rosato Centovie by Umani Ronchi is a rosé wine produced in the Abruzzo region. The red grapes come from the Centovie estate, located in Roseto degli Abruzzi. The vineyards are planted on clay-loam soils, in some parts sandy, with a good presence of stones and benefit from a south-east exposure.
The harvest is done by hand. The grapes are transferred to the press for a short, low-temperature maceration, followed by gentle pressing. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of around 16°C. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for about 3-4 months before bottling.
The wine shows a pale pink color. On the nose, it offers fresh and fruity aromas, with notes of strawberry and citrus. On the palate, it is fresh and light, with good acidity and a pleasant, persistent finish.
It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, white meats, and salads.
