Description
The Colli dell'Etruria Centrale Sassobianco di Marchesi Gondi was born inside the Villa Bossi estate, in the Florentine municipality of Pontassieve.
It is produced with Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay grapes, harvested manually between the end of August and the first days of September. After a soft pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.
Marchesi Gondi's Sassobianco has a straw yellow color with soft greenish reflections. The nose opens with fruity pineapple aromas, enriched with pleasant vegetal notes and a slight minerality. On the palate it is fresh and savory, with a pleasantly long finish.
Perfect to accompany shellfish appetizers, this white wine is ideal in combination with first courses with vegetables.
