Colli Tortonesi DOC Derthona 2015 Claudio Mariotto

"Derthona" by Claudio Mariotto is a Timorasso born, raised and bottled in the Tortona area, or more precisely in the surroundings of the municipality of Vho di Tortona.

The Timorasso grapes, which make up this white in purity, are harvested from vineyards located at 250 meters above sea level. Every single step of the vinification is aimed at the exaltation of the vine and its potential, which bring it and evolve very well over the years.

Straw yellow in color, this white displays a bouquet of white-fleshed fruit, citrus and elderberry flowers. In the mouth it is very fine in its fresh-savory contours and well structured in the body. A slight honeyed memory closes the sip and prolongs it.

Ideal in combination with white meats and vegetable pies, it can be served throughout the meal or even at the end of dinner, for meditation.
