Description
The Countess is a jewel of the Amiata brewery. It represents a perfect mix between an American and an Indian Ale, characterized by a surprising drinkability, despite the high alcohol content.
This beer has a blond color with amber reflections, accompanied by a creamy and not very persistent foam. The nose comes with a fresh herbaceous aroma, followed by fruity, citrus and sweet honey notes. In the mouth it is complex, with fruity aromas followed by a strong bitter hopping. that takes more and more scene with the passing of the seconds. The aftertaste is bitter, with notes of grapefruit zest.
Perfect to accompany soups and blue cheeses, the Contessa is also ideal with a well-seasoned pizza.
