Costa Toscana IGT Cabernet Franc 2017 Ampeleia

The Cabernet Franc of the Ampelaia company comes from vineyards particularly suited to the property, located in Tuscany.

Over the years the qualitative superiority of some vineyard parcels has been noted in giving Cabernet Franc grapes of great expressiveness. For this reason it was decided to vinify them separately. This Cabernet Franc comes from the parcel n. 348 of the Vigna dell'Asina, defined by a soil rich in galestro and palombini. The high temperature ranges determine grapes with a fine and precise aromatic set. The harvest takes place in October and, at the end of the winemaking process, the refinement lasts for about 6 months in concrete tanks.

It has a very deep ruby red color in the glass. On the nose it traces the herbaceous trail typical of the variety but perfectly managed in the fruit and in the earthy imprint of undergrowth. In the mouth it confirms elegance through a fresh and savory weave in balance with softness and body.
