Description

The wooden box contains 4 Etna wines produced by the Nicosia company.

Munti's Etna Rosso Lenza is produced from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes. The vineyards are located at an average altitude of 720 meters above sea level and located on soils of lava origin.

The wine is obtained by first harvesting by hand in October. Transported to the cellar, the grapes macerate cold for 24 hours before starting a fermentation in steel vats at a controlled temperature for up to 15 days. This is followed by aging in steel, then in tonneaux for up to 4 months and another 6 months of rest in the bottle.

Of a beautiful bright ruby red, it offers a complex and intense nose with red fruits accompanied by floral scents. Soft and lively on the palate, it maintains the fruity consistency for a full and enveloping sip followed by a persistent finish. Perfect with cured meats and semi-aged cheeses, it goes well with savory first courses, roasted and grilled meats.

Munti's Etna Bianco Lenza is produced with the Carricante and Catarratto vines. The vineyards are located at an average altitude of 720 meters above sea level and placed on volcanic sands.

The wine is obtained by first carrying out a cold maceration of 24 hours before soft pressing. Fermentation follows for a maximum of 25 days and aging on the fine lees before resting for 2 months in the bottle.

Bright straw yellow in appearance, it has floral notes of acacia, chamomile, grapefruit and apple. On the palate it immediately reveals great minerality and softness showing remarkable structure for an intense and prolonged sip. Ideal in combination with aperitifs or raw fish, sushi and fried dishes.
