Etna DOC Rosso Martinella 2012 Vivera
Description
The Etna Rosso Martinella of the Vivera Company was born in vineyards, organically run, located in the extraordinary and renowned north-east side of Etna.
It is produced from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes, harvested and selected manually between the first and second week of October. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 26 ° -29 ° C for about 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages in French oak barriques for about 12 months and for a further 6 months in bottle.
Etna Rosso Martinella is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet of ripe red fruits. On the palate it is pleasantly sapid, slightly tannic and persistent.
Ideal to accompany risotto with mushrooms, radicchio and sausage, it is excellent when combined with game dishes.
