Description
The Etna Rosso Inessa comes from terraced vineyards in Castiglione di Sicilia located between 650 and 700 meters above sea level. It emphasizes the connection between the indigenous Nerello Mascalese grape and the Etna region, with its fertile volcanic soils and a microclimate characterized by a good temperature range between day and night.
It is a blend composed almost entirely of Nerello Mascalese grapes with small additions of Nerello Cappuccio. The vinification follows the traditional red method, followed by aging in oak barrels.
It is characterized by a deep ruby red color. On the nose, there are evident notes of small berries, black cherry, and plum, enriched by spicy and coffee notes. On the palate, it is austere, elegant, and structured.
It is perfect when paired with roasts and game-based dishes.
