Falanghina del Sannio DOC Caracena 2016 Oppida Aminea

Caracena was born in the vineyards of Oppida Aminea, located on the Campania hills in the province of Benevento.

This wine is produced exclusively with Falanghina grapes, selected and harvested entirely by hand. After the white winemaking processes, the product is aged for 3 months in steel and then in glass for at least another 2 months, before being placed on the market.

The Caracena di Oppida Ominea has a pale yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose shows a good aromatic complexity, with citrus notes that blend well with hints of Mediterranean spices and dried fruit. In the mouth minerality and flavor emerge, deriving from volcanic soils, well balanced by a bewitching softness and a persistent finish.

Its ideal companion is fish, in all its forms.
