Description
The Fiano di Avellino Morandi is produced by Feudi di San Gregorio, one of the largest and most successful wineries in Campania, which produces both white and red wines in Irpinia, a historic region of the Campanian Apennines in the province of Avellino. The line "Feudi Studi" is a limited edition that each year is born from grapes of the most expressive vineyards selected from the 800 vineyards available to the company.
The wine is composed exclusively of Fiano grapes, which are crushed and fermented in steel at 18-20°C, without undergoing malolactic fermentation. The wine thus obtained ages in steel on the fine lees for 8-10 months, with weekly batonnage, followed by 12-18 in the bottle.
This wine presents a straw yellow color with golden reflections, revealing on the nose aromas of apple, bergamot, white pepper, and chestnut. The sip is dry and fresh, with a long finish.
Ideal to enjoy with grilled shellfish and roasted white meats.
