Description
Alma Assemblage is a Franciacorta Extra Brut from Bellavista, mainly obtained from Chardonnay grapes, with the addition of Pinot Noir and a small percentage of Pinot Blanc. The grapes come from selected vineyards in the best plots of the estate, with vines that are on average 27-28 years old.
Harvesting is done manually and takes place between August and September. The free-run must is obtained through soft pressing, with aging on the lees for about 30 months and part of the wines aged in oak barrels to add complexity. The bottling is scheduled for May and the riddling is performed manually, thus completing a careful and artisanal winemaking process.
It displays a bright yellow color, offering a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it presents a delicate bouquet of Mediterranean flowers enriched by lively citrus notes. On the palate, it reveals itself to be dynamic, with a mineral finish that adds depth, highlighting a harmonious structure and a perfect balance between freshness and maturity.
This Franciacorta is ideal as an aperitif and pairs perfectly with fish dishes, shellfish, and fresh cheeses.
