Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Pinot Grigio 2015 La Tunella

The Pinot Grigio of the La Tunella company comes from vineyards located in the famous DOC Friuli Colli Orientali.

It is produced exclusively with Pinot Grigio grapes, harvested in the first week of September and then softly pressed. The fermentation of the flower must takes place at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C for about 30-40 days. Subsequently the wine ages in steel tanks with frequent batonnage.

This Pinot Grigio has an intense straw yellow color. The nose opens fruity and with fragrant hints reminiscent of the crust of hot bread, accompanied by notes of acacia flowers and ripe tropical fruits. On the palate it follows the olfactory sensations and is elegant, full-bodied, with delicate notes of yeast and acidic sensations at the end of the mouth.

This wine gives its best in the first year of life and is perfect to accompany appetizers, hams, fish and white meats. Excellent as an aperitif.
