Friuli Grave DOC Chardonnay 2017 Villa Chiopris

This Chardonnay was born in the vineyards around the historic Villa Chiopris estate, owned by the Livon family in DOC Friuli.

It is made exclusively with Chardonnay grapes, mechanically harvested. After a cold maceration pressing and a cleaning of the must by decanting, the wine ferments in steel barrels at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C. Once the fermentation process is over, it is left to rest for about 4 months in the same barrels, before moving on to bottling and subsequent refinement in the bottle.

It is characterized by a straw yellow color. It has a fruity aroma of Golden apple and peach, to which is added a delicate note of bread crust. In the mouth it shows a wine of excellent balance and very velvety.

It goes well with fish-based risottos and with very delicate fish dishes.
