Description
Malvasia produced by the Borgo San Daniele winery is a wine with great aromatic expansiveness. It comes from a village on the outskirts of Cormons, Giassico, in the Friuli province of Gorizia.
The grapes, of pure Malvasia variety, are harvested, crushed and subjected to a short maceration period, which enriches them with character. It matures in contact with its fermentation yeasts for some time.
In the glass it is bright in intense straw yellow hues. Its aroma is typically varietal, articulated in notes of peach, citrus and lime flowers. The sip is well managed in its freshness and savory imprint, supported by a consistent and soft structure. Closes in a citrus finish reminiscent of ginger.
It goes well with a plate of lemon-scented spaghetti with seafood
