Description
This Sauvignon Blanc comes from the vineyards of Villa Locatelli di Angoris, in the Friuli Isonzo DOC.
It is produced exclusively with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, selected and harvested in early September. After a short cold maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature, the wine is left to rest for 5 months in special stainless steel containers.
Sauvignon Blanc Villa Locatelli of Angoris is characterized by a straw yellow color of considerable intensity. The nose offers vegetable aromas of pepper and tomato leaf, to which are added fruity notes of white peach and pineapple and balsamic sensations of mint. In the mouth it is dry and medium-bodied, with a very fruity slightly fruity aftertaste.
It goes very well with finocchiona and San Daniele ham. It is excellent with smoked salmon and vegetable dishes.
