Gavi DOCG Marne Bianco 2017 Le Marne

The White Marne originates in the Gavi area, in Piedmont.

It is a 100% Cortese grape, coming from vineyards located at an altitude of 330 meters and cultivated according to an organic farming method. The soils rich in limestone clay trace a peculiar mineral trail in the grapes, which is repeated in the wine. The winemaking process unfolds within concrete tanks, in order to preserve the freshness of the aromas and the expressiveness of the fruit.

At sight it is straw yellow. The nose is reminiscent of white fruit and flowers, marked by a distinct mineral imprint. The taste is pleasantly sapid and fresh, balanced and fruity.

To be combined with a velvety asparagus.
