Description

The Gioia del Colle Primitivo Senatore from the Coppi winery was born in vineyards located in the Bari area of Conversano, in the heart of Puglia.

It is produced entirely with Primitivo grapes, harvested and selected only by hand in the first ten days of September. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels before being bottled.

The Senatore di Coppi is characterized by an intense red color, with purple hues. The nose opens with intense and persistent aromas of red fruit, enriched with light spicy notes. In the mouth it is warm and soft, quite dry and tannic.

Perfect to accompany elaborate dishes and salted white meats, it is ideal in combination with vegetable soups and aged cheeses.
