Description

The Riserva of the Conte Guicciardini company is a Chianti Colli Fiorentini made with a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet grapes.

It is a selection of the best vintages, made with grapes in a perfect state of ripeness and able to best express the terroir of origin. Fermentation is carried out in vats at a controlled temperature and maceration lasts for 18 days. Subsequently, the wine matures in vats and for 18–24 months in oak barrels. A further ageing in bottle for at least 3 months follows.

Intense ruby red color with garnet reflections, it has a complex bouquet with hints of ripe red and black fruits, mentholated and spicy notes finished with herbaceous hints. On the palate the great structure is enhanced by velvety tannins and a pleasant alcoholic charge, before a long and balanced finish.

Perfect with roasts, grilled meats, pasta dishes with porcini mushrooms or truffles.
