Description
The Island of the Cagnulare Nuraghi CGN Memorie di Vite di Quartomoro was born in vineyards located in Usini, in the Nurra-Coros area, in the province of Sassari.
It is produced with pure Cagnulari grapes, manually harvested in boxes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a maximum temperature of 30 ° C, with maceration in contact with the skins for 7 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in steel and in barrique, and for a further 6 months in bottle, before being marketed.
It has a deep ruby red color. The nose opens with a herbaceous and vegetable bouquet, pleasantly aromatic. On the palate it is fresh and balsamic, with good persistence.
Perfect to accompany well-seasoned first courses and stewed or barbecued meats, it is ideal in combination with medium-aged cheeses.
