Description
The Pomerol by Château Siaurac is a red wine from the Lalande de Pomerol appellation, produced by a historic estate located on the eastern side of the Néac plateau. The vineyard covers over 46 hectares of clay, sand, and gravel soils, cultivated with an environmentally respectful approach. The main grape varieties grown are Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec, which contribute in balanced measure to the elegance and structure of this wine.
Vinification takes place with great attention to the quality of the grapes, which are hand-picked and carefully selected. After fermentation, the wine matures for about 14 months, partly in French oak barriques and partly in cement vats, in order to preserve freshness and typicity. This process harmonizes the fruity and spicy elements while maintaining the authenticity of the terroir of origin.
On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe wild berries, accompanied by elegant notes of sweet spices. The palate is soft and enveloping, with a refined balance between fruit, smooth tannins, and a pleasant freshness that sustains the long, aromatic finish.
It pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, roasts, or aged cheeses.
