Description
The Lambrusco di Sorbara Secco Vigna del Cristo by Cavicchioli was born in vineyards located in Cristo, in the Sorbara area, in the province of Modena.
It is produced exclusively with Lambrusco di Sorbara grapes, harvested only by hand between the end of September and the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15-18 °C for 10–15 days. Subsequently, the wine carries out a Charmat-type second fermentation for 4–5 weeks.
It is characterized by a light ruby colour, with a powder foam. The nose opens with delicate aromas of rose, enriched with pleasant hints of strawberries, blood orange and violets. On the palate it is fresh, balanced and pleasantly savoury, with an elegant fruity aftertaste.
Perfect to accompany cold cuts, first courses and fish dishes, it is ideal in combination with meat sauce, red meats and pizza.
