Description
The Sauvignon Blanc Reserva from the Casa la Tenca winery is a white wine produced in Chile with Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the Leyda Valley, a coastal area characterized by a cool climate thanks to the influence of the Humboldt Current and ocean breezes. The particular climatic conditions and the poor soils give the wine elegance, freshness, and distinctive mineral notes.
The grapes are harvested in the early hours of the morning to preserve their aromatic integrity. After a short cold maceration, the must is separated from the skins, decanted, and inoculated with selected yeasts. The alcoholic fermentation takes place between 11°C and 12°C, followed by filtering and bottling to keep the varietal vivacity intact.
It appears straw yellow with green reflections. On the nose, it expresses intense aromas of lychee, lime, citrus fruits, and light herbal notes. On the palate, it is juicy, fresh, and persistent, with a vibrant acidity that highlights its vitality.
Perfect as an aperitif or paired with ceviche, oysters, vegetarian dishes, or goat cheese.
