Description

Second wine of Château Dauzac coming from vines aged 35-40 years, cultivated on the characteristic gravelly soils of Haut-Médoc.

It consists of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested once they have reached full ripeness. Made with gravity vinification, it ferments in steel at a controlled temperature of 28°C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in barrels for 18 months.

It appears in the glass with a purple-red color. The nose is mainly dominated by fruit, underscored by graceful spicy touches. On the palate, it shows its full volume and a complex and balanced body that finishes with a pleasantly fresh finale.

Recommended to pair with meat, both white and red, it is perfect accompanied by game and aged cheeses.
