Mendoza IG San Felipe Merlot Roble 2015 Bodega La Rural

Bodega La Rural Mendoza Merlot Roble San Felipe was born in vineyards located in the Argentine department of Tupungato, in the heart of the renowned wine region of Mendoza.

It is produced exclusively with Merlot grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 10 months partly in steel and partly in American oak barrels.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with evident aromas of red, blackberry and purple fruit, enriched with notes of smoke and leather. On the palate it is balanced and pleasantly tannic, with a long and persistent aftertaste.

This wine is perfect to accompany grilled and roasted red meats.
