Description

The Molise Rosso Riserva Don Luigi from the Di Majo Norante winery is born in vineyards located in Martarosa, in the heart of Molise.

It is produced primarily with native red grapes and Aglianico, harvested between late October and late November. Vinification is traditional, with maceration on the skins for approximately 30 days. The wine then ages in new oak barrels for 12 months and another 6 months in bottle before being released for sale.

Don Luigi is characterized by a garnet red color with purple highlights. The nose opens with a rich and intense bouquet of ripe fruit and plum, enriched with pleasant toasted notes and vanilla. On the palate, it is pleasantly full and smooth, with persistent tannins.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal when paired with dishes based on meat ragù and mature cheeses.
