Description
The Montecarlo Vermentino by La Torre originates from the Makallè estate vineyard, measuring only one hectare, located in the municipality of Montecarlo, in the province of Lucca.
The harvest is carried out manually in crates at the end of September. The must obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes ferments in steel for 15 days at a temperature of 18°C. Malolactic fermentation and aging occur in steel for a duration of 6 months.
It presents itself to the eye with a straw yellow color. The nose is rich and layered, with delightful fruity and floral fragrances. On the palate, it is dry and velvety, soft and harmonious.
Excellent with fish-based first courses and appetizers, but also as an aperitif.
