Description
The Morellino di Scansano di Arpa was born in vineyards located in the Magliano area in Tuscany, Maremma.
It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes, fermented for about 15 days. The wine is then transferred for aging in steel tanks, where it remains for about 12 months. Once bottled, it rests in the bottle for another 4-6 months before being marketed.
This Morellino di Scansano has a ruby red color with amaranth highlights. The bouquet is intense, with notes of red berried fruits typical of the variety. In the mouth it is dry, well-structured and slightly tannic. Overall it is a fresh wine with a pleasant persistence.
Perfect to accompany game-based courses, it is ideal in combination with grilled red meats. Excellent also with fresh cheeses.
