Description
This is the expression of a great Musigny and represents a piece of the wonderful viticultural mosaic signed Jacques Prieur.
The grapes - 100% Pinot Noir - come from a 0.77 hectare parcel located in the Cote de Nuis. The vineyards in this corner of Burgundy enjoy a sunny climate and draw elegance from the mineral and stony soils. Refine for 20 months in oak barrels.
Ruby red, enlivened by some purple reflections. The finesse of the bouquet is made up of a fruity profile of dark berries and a more floral one of geranium and rose petals. A spicy echo emerges among the mouth aromas. Excellent body, excellent density and softness in balance with tannic austerity. It persists in a juicy ending.
Perfect to accompany a plate of pappardelle with game ragù.
