Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon AVA 2018 Robert Mondavi Winery
Description
This Cabernet Sauvignon is born in the splendid vineyards of the Robert Mondavi Winery, located in the famous Napa Valley of California.
It is made mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and a small part of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, carefully harvested and selected. After a maceration lasting about 25 days, the wine is left to ferment in oak barrels. In the same containers, it is then left to evolve for about 16 months, in order to amplify its organoleptic characteristics, in harmony with the American wine culture. Bottling and refinement in glass follows.
This Cabernet Sauvignon has a very intense ruby red color. The nose brings an interesting fragrant component, with a herbaceous scent to open the way to fresh hints of blackberry and flowers. In the mouth it is of great structure, with a rather soft tannin that favors the chocolate aromas that emerge in a persistent finish.
Perfect with elaborate dishes such as grilled red meats, roasts, game and well-aged fresh cheeses.
