Description
Notte Rossa’s Negroamaro Salento comes from vineyards in the renowned Salento peninsula, planted on red soils in a warm, dry climate with significant temperature variations.
It is made exclusively from Negroamaro grapes, harvested in the last week of September. After a long maceration and contact with the skins, the must ferments at a controlled temperature of 24-26°C. The wine is then aged for 6 months in French oak barriques.
This deep purple red wine offers a complex bouquet of spices, wild berries, and cherry jam. On the palate, it is full-bodied, smooth, and harmonious, with well-integrated tannins.
Recommended with hearty first courses and red meat dishes, it pairs beautifully with aged pecorino cheeses and game.
