Description

The Nobile di Montepulciano Torcalvano di Folonari was born in vineyards located in the Tor Calvano Gracciano estates, where Prugnolo Gentile, the local selection of the Sangiovese grape variety, is cultivated together with other autochthonous and innovative red grape varieties.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested during the second half of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 20 months and for another 6 months in bottle before being released on the market.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with garnet hues. The nose opens with elegant hints of violet, enriched with pleasant cherry aromas. On the palate it is pleasantly balanced, with a great final persistence.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with roasts and noble poultry.
