Description
Plantation's Panama Rum is produced in the nation of the same name, from sugar cane molasses. After distillation in column stills, this rum ages for 9 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being sent to the Château de Bonbonnet, in France, where it completes its refinement by remaining in the barrel for a further 2 years.
With a bright amber color, Plantation Rum Panama opens on the nose with floral hints reminiscent of violet, later developing fruity aromas of raspberry, strawberry and plum, with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate it is delicate and medium-bodied, with notes of exotic fruit and toffee.
Excellent for meditation, this rum is ideal in the company of a good cigar.
