Description
This red wine is produced by the Château Haut-Plantade, whose foundation dates back to 1800.
The wine is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, vinified in steel tanks. The aging takes place in oak barrels for 16 months.
Ruby red in color with garnet reflections, the wine has a complex bouquet with aromas of red and black fruits, raspberries, strawberries, black currants and vanilla notes. The sip is full-bodied and rich, with silky tannins and a good persistence.
It goes well with baked and stewed game.
