Description
Enzo Bartoli's Dolcetto grows on calcareous and clay soils that favor the production of smooth and intense wines. This grape variety, one of the most beloved in the Piedmontese tradition, gives rise to a pleasant and approachable wine, crafted to best express its freshness and drinkability.
Harvesting takes place in mid-September, followed by red vinification with fermentation in stainless steel, which helps preserve the aromatic qualities and varietal character.
In the glass, it displays a red color with ruby highlights. The bouquet is intense, with notes of cherry, wild berries, and jam, accompanied by subtle hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is dry, fresh, and pleasantly smooth, with an overall good balance.
Ideal with pasta dishes in ragout sauces and main courses of red meat.
