Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG Bandarossa Special Reserve 2018 Bortolomiol

Limited edition of Prosecco Bortolomiol, produced in only 6000 bottles and marked with the exclusive "Banda Rossa" that the founder Giuliano Bortolomiol used to add to the high quality prosecco that he wished to allocate to his closest friends.

The Bandarossa Special Reserve is obtained from the best Glera grapes harvested in the second half of September from twenty vineyards located between the hills of San Pietro di Barbozza and Santo Stefano, in Valdobbiadene. The selection of the bunches proves to be a fundamental choice for proposing a label of this caliber, the result of a vinification carried out with the ancient yeasts selected from the same vineyards of Bortolomiol and of a longer sparkling process than the traditional Charmat Method, with refinement of 3 months on its lees and a further 4 months in the bottle.

The result is a refined bubble that shines in the glass of a beautiful pale straw yellow, accompanied by a minute and constant perlage. The elegant sense of smell is played on subtle citrus and tropical fruit notes. The taste is slightly sweet, centered on a pleasant silky consistency and a deliciously harmonious palate.

Ideal to serve on special occasions as an aperitif.
